Hi, I’m Lori West and I consider it a true privilege to journey with people through life’s most challenging and transformative moments. I believe the counseling relationship can be a meaningful source of hope, especially during difficult seasons. My passion is to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel seen, supported, and encouraged as they work toward healing and growth.

I earned a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling as well as a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. Prior to that, I completed my undergraduate studies at Western Kentucky University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Religious Studies, along with a certificate in Leadership Studies.

I offer a diverse and well-rounded background that includes group therapy, social work, non-profit leadership and private practice. During my time as Client Services Director at a local pregnancy center, I had the privilege of supporting women navigating unplanned pregnancies, training volunteers in crisis response, and creating spaces filled with compassion and tangible assistance. My combined experience in private practice and social work has deepened my understanding of how vital it is to address both the practical challenges and the emotional burdens that clients face. My clinical background includes working with adolescents in group therapy, providing marriage counseling, supporting clients through crisis and trauma, and offering individual therapy for a variety of issues. My approach to counseling is compassionate, relational and collaborative. I aim to create a welcoming, safe space where you can share your story, feel truly heard, and discover healing, growth and a renewed sense of hope and purpose.

Outside the counseling room, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and three daughters. I also love traveling, getting lost in a good book, connecting with friends, and being involved in our church community.
